- NEURODEM Cymru – „NEURODEM Cymru is funded by the Welsh Government to try to increase the amount of high quality research carried out in Wales. Our goal is to facilitate leading edge research on the dementias and neurodegenerative diseases, and covers research into Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease and Motor Neurone disease, as well as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We are very fortunate that we’ve got a number of active research teams working in this field, and research of international quality takes place, but there is always scope for more and for improving the amount and the quality of the research”.
