  • Alzheimer's Association – „The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research”.
  • Alzheimer’s Disease International ADI – „ADI is the international federation of Alzheimer associations around the world, in official relations with the World Health Organization. Each member is the Alzheimer association in their country who support people with dementia and their families. ADI's vision is an improved quality of life for people with dementia and their families throughout the world”.
  • Alzheimer Europe – „Alzheimer Europe is an umbrella organisation of 36 Alzheimer associations from 31 countries across Europe. Our members vary in terms of how long they have been established, in terms also of size and scope. The Alzheimer Europe office is based in Luxembourg, staffed by eight people and also a representative in Brussels, Belgium”.

  • American Association for Long Term Care Nursing – „The American Association for Long Term Care Nursing (AALTCN) unites all levels of nursing staff to advance excellence in the specialty of long term care nursing. It strives to achieve this by providing relevant education and advocating for long term care nursing”.
  • Alzheimer's Research UK – „We are the UK’s leading research charity aiming to defeat dementia. We power world class studies that give us the best chance of beating dementia sooner”.
  • Alzheimer's Society – „At Alzheimer's Society, we believe passionately that life doesn't end when dementia begins. We are here for anyone affected by dementia, and we do everything we can to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most”.
  • Dementia Advocacy and Support Network International – „A worldwide organization by and for those diagnosed with dementia, working together to imprve our quality of life”.
  • Dementia Care – „Dementia Care is a Newcastle based charity that provides specialist care, support and advice to people with dementia and other neurological disorders such as acquired brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease. We also support a small number of people with functional mental health disorders and learning disabilities where our skills meet individual’s specialist requirements”.

  • International Psychogeriatric Association – „IPA represents a commitment to serving the broad spectrum of issues, perspectives, opportunities and challenges of geriatric mental health around the world. Fundamental to IPA is a spirit of connection, collaboration and community. IPA facilitates professionals connecting and collaborating – interacting and working together in the IPA community on research, practices of care and in general, improving the mental health for all older people around the world. Not only does IPA foster this spirit of community within IPA, but we also seek to work with other organizations that share our commitment, such as those in the IPA Affiliate program, the World Health Organization, United Nations, the World Psychiatric Association, Alzheimer’s Disease International, and many more”.
  • NEURODEM Cymru – „NEURODEM Cymru is funded by the Welsh Government to try to increase the amount of high quality research carried out in Wales. Our goal is to facilitate leading edge research on the dementias and neurodegenerative diseases, and covers research into Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease and Motor Neurone disease, as well as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. We are very fortunate that we’ve got a number of active research teams working in this field, and research of international quality takes place, but there is always scope for more and for improving the amount and the quality of the research”.

  • Deutsches Zentrum für Neurodegenerative Erkrankungen – „The DZNE is the only research institute in Germany dedicated to dementia and all its facets. A member of the Helmholtz Association and the first of six German centers for health research (DZG), the DZNE was established by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) to combat the most important widespread disease“.
